Take the tube from inside the cap of THE TORP® and insert it firmly into the mouth of THE TORP®. Push it until you hear a click Check it's securely attached before loading THE TORP® into THE SUB.
Slide THE TORP® inside THE SUB bottom end first. Using a pre-chilled (fridge temperature) THE TORP® will help speed up the super-chilling process.
Open the tap cover and lead the tube along the backside of the tap head. Place the spout inside the tap head and click it in position. Close the tap cover and check that the tube is firmly attached at both ends.
Shut THE SUB door firmly. THE TORP® should be a firm fit but you should not have to force it. If the door will not close easily check that THE TORP® is as far back as it can go in the chamber.
Right after loading a new THE TORP®, prime the pump by holding down the handle until the pump activates (it takes approximately 1 second), then release the handle to stop pouring. Wait till the light turns green to have THE SUB ready.
Once THE TORP® is loaded, the light will turn green when it's ready to pour. (TOP TIP: You can pre-chill THE SUB chamber by turning the power on up to an hour before you start.)
For the best pour, use a clean glass each time and rinse it with cold water just before you serve.
For a professional pour, hold the glass at a 45° angle to the spout. This helps to get the right foam level in the glass.
Keep your glass in position and pull the handle to pour. (TOP TIP: Control the foam level in the glass by changing the angle of the glass, more angle = less foam. Slowly tilt the glass to upward position when the glass is almost full, then push the handle to stop the pour)
The perfect head is about 2 fingers high. Take a wet skimmer and cut off the crown of the head to seal in the flavour. (TOP TIP: if you're using a Heineken glass line up the bottom of the head with the shoulders of the star)
